In this role, you will: * Expected to be opened to shift work and/or on-call to support for DataStage.

• Handle end to end L1 and L2 support for ETL batches which includes batch monitoring, incident management and responding to upstream/downstream queries.
• Collaborate with business and development teams as needed to analyze problems and provide solutions.
• Support incidents with proactive actions to avoid escalations and thereby meeting application service level agreements.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, potential risks and increased efficiencies as part of batch optimization.
• Lead the ETL support team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: * Having 8+ years of DataStage 8.x/11.x support/development experience.

• Experience in working Agile projects.
• Experience in Control-M batch scheduling tool.
• Should be able to write complex SQL queries.
• Should be able to write PL/SQL stored procedure.
• Knowledge on Oracle and Teradata database.
• Good knowledge on Unix, R and Python scripting.
• Knowledge on Pega, GCP, AWS, R and Python is an added advantage.
• Strong Communication skills is a must.
• IBM infosphere DataStage
