We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with fresh ideas having passion & great acumen for ETL and data warehousing concepts. Strong working experience in Informatica Power Center, SQL and at least anyone scripting language is must. Good working knowledge in Agile model and should possess strong problem-solving skills and handling critical situations. Must have good knowledge of database systems and should be able to write basic and complex queries and have idea of advanced SQL concepts. Should be familiar with both Windows and UNIX environment.Key Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 To interact with the Business, onsite/offshore counterparts to understand business requirement and transforming business rule into technical specifications.\xc2\xb7 Responsible for all activities related to the development, implementation of ETL processes for large scale data warehouses using Informatica Power Center 10.5.\xc2\xb7 Perform root cause analysis of job failures and propose solutions to perform complex troubleshooting.\xc2\xb7 Involved in preparation of unit test cases and executing Unit test plan as well. Responsible for migration of informatica objects from one environment to another.\xc2\xb7 Involved in performance tuning of mappings and sql queries for better performance and efficiency.\xc2\xb7 Monitoring interfaces and informatica sessions, resolving on-going maintenance issues and bug fixes.\xc2\xb7 Documentation for all the activities involved in different phases of development cycle.\xc2\xb7 Should be able to identify the areas of improvement and re-engineering scope.\xc2\xb7 Participating in discussions with cross commits.\xc2\xb7 Helping other team members to resolve their technical issues.\xc2\xb7 Mentoring the interns and new joiners.\xc2\xb7 Monitor and report issues and work with the required team/vendor for quick resolution.\xc2\xb7 Should be open to learn new technologies/tools.Required Qualifications\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.\xc2\xb7 2- 4 years of relevant experience.\xc2\xb7 Strong Informatica, IICS and ETL fundamentals.\xc2\xb7 Should be experienced in Data Warehouse/Data mart, and OLAP implementations, requirements gathering, data modeling, Effort Estimation, ETL Design, development, System testing, Implementation.\xc2\xb7 Hands-on experience on a job scheduling tool \xe2\x80\x93 preferably with TWS or Tidal.\xc2\xb7 Hands-on experience on Power Exchange to create data map from Mainframe copybook.\xc2\xb7 Working Experience of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and Python.\xc2\xb7 Basic knowledge of AWS services(S3, Lambda, EMR).\xc2\xb7 Basic Knowledge of Mainframe to validate the VSAM files created through ETL.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of dev/test/prod environment code deployment processes.\xc2\xb7 Should be able to understand business requirements, create technical specifications and design and implement the same using Integration technologies.\xc2\xb7 Should Understand and can interpret, design and code UNIX shell scripts in bash / ksh.\xc2\xb7 Conduct ETL workflow and mapping optimization review, troubleshooting and debugging.\xc2\xb7 Understand and can interpret database access from Informatica and find optimization opportunities.\xc2\xb7 Understand and can interpret scheduling of ETL based batch.\xc2\xb7 Provides solutions to the critical issues in ETL (Informatica power center and IICS)\xc2\xb7 Provides software support for ETL (Informatica power center and IICS)\xc2\xb7 Provides technical assistance for incoming queries and issues related to the software products.\xc2\xb7 Maintains operational day-to-day IT functions of software products.\xc2\xb7 Performs root cause analysis to determine nature of software environment issues as they arise and provide the permanent fix for the issues.\xc2\xb7 Experience with multi-vendor environment and Ability to work in a high-pressured, tight deadline environment.\xc2\xb7 Generate innovative ideas and apply them in implementing solutions.\xc2\xb7 Flexibility and adaptability towards changing organizational needs.\xc2\xb7 Good Communication skills.\xc2\xb7 Strong attention to detail and with ability to focus on quality and efficiency.\xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate and articulate technical information across various organizational levels.\xc2\xb7 Highly innovative problem solver with strong analytical and customer service abilities required.\xc2\xb7 High reasoning aptitude and ability to quickly understand complex operating environments.\xc2\xb7 Strong thought leadership and motivation with the ability to work independently.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a diverse multi-national and multi-vendor environment.\xc2\xb7 Ability to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high profile incidents/problems.Preferred Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Experience working with Annuity and Insurance products and policy admin systems such as Oracle\'s OIPA.\xc2\xb7 Experience in Mainframe.\xc2\xb7 Proven ability to successfully translate client/business needs into software designs.\xc2\xb7 Certification on ETL/AWS is an added advantage.\xc2\xb7 Should be self-starter and team player in solving issues and mentoring other team members.\xc2\xb7 Automation and Continuous improvement support.\xc2\xb7 Experience in handling automated code deployments through GIT or other version control tools.\xc2\xb7 DevOps, CICD Pipeline knowledge.About Our Company
