As an Estimator in the printing industry, you will be responsible for analyzing project
specifications and providing accurate cost estimates to ensure profitability and
competitiveness. You will collaborate closely with clients, sales teams, and production staff
to deliver timely and precise estimates that meet customer needs.Key Responsibilities
xefx82xb7 Review and analyse print specifications, including materials, processes, and timelines.
xefx82xb7 Prepare detailed cost estimates based on job requirements and production capabilities.
xefx82xb7 Communicate with clients to clarify project details and requirements.
xefx82xb7 Collaborate with sales teams to develop pricing strategies and respond to client
inquiries.
xefx82xb7 Maintain an up-to-date database of pricing for materials, labor, and overhead costs.
xefx82xb7 Generate reports on estimated vs. actual costs to inform future estimates.
xefx82xb7 Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
xefx82xb7 Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
xefx82xb7 Participate in project meetings and provide input on budgeting and cost management.Qualifications
xefx82xb7 Diploma in Printing or Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology.
xefx82xb7 Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as an estimator in the printing or related
industry.
xefx82xb7 Strong understanding of printing processes, materials, and technologies.
xefx82xb7 Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
xefx82xb7 Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
xefx82xb7 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
