A Facade Estimator calculates the cost of exterior building projects, including materials, labor, and time. Responsibilities encompass preparing detailed estimates, analyzing blueprints, and negotiating with suppliers and contractors.

Responsibilities:

Analyze architectural drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work required for the project.

Prepare cost estimates and proposals for clients based on project requirements.

Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate estimates and project timelines.

Conduct site visits and gather information to assess project feasibility and identify potential challenges.

Work with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure materials and labor costs are accurately reflected in estimates.

Develop and maintain a database of pricing information, labor rates, and other industry data to inform accurate estimates.

Review and adjust estimates as needed based on changes in project scope or other factors.

Communicate effectively with clients and team members throughout the estimation process to ensure project success.

Requirements:

• Strong mathematical skills to accurately estimate the cost of facades

•

• Knowledge of different types of facades and their properties

•

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints

•

• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, architects, and contractors

•

• Proficiency in estimating software and other relevant tools

•

• Attention to detail and ability to identify potential errors or discrepancies in estimates
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines

•

Relevant degree or certification in construction management, architecture, or civil engineering

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
