Job Description

Electrical Or Mechanical Estimation Engineer Responsibilities:

• Analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and drawings to determine the electrical, Mechanical requirements and scope of work for each project.
• Researching and evaluating market prices for Mechanical or electrical materials, equipment, and labor, and ensuring that the estimates are in line with the budget and profitability goals of the company.
• Preparing and submitting competitive project bids, proposals, and contracts to clients, and negotiating the terms and conditions as needed.
• Coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to obtain quotations and technical information for the projects.
• Reviewing and updating cost databases and historical data to reflect the current market trends and project conditions.
• Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project managers on electrical estimation and design issues.
• Collaborating with other engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure the quality and efficiency of the electrical projects.
• Keeping track of the project progress and costs, and reporting any changes or discrepancies to the management and clients.
• Staying updated with the latest electrical codes, standards, and best practices, as well as the new technologies and software for electrical estimation and design.

Electrical Estimation Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree inMechanical or electrical engineering field.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience as an electrical estimator, engineer, or designer in the construction industry.
• Proficient in using electrical estimation and Excel.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
