Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Project Analysis:

• Review project specifications, drawings, and related documents to understand scope and requirements.
• Identify materials, labor, and time requirements for projects.

Cost Estimation:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction, materials, equipment, and labor.
• Develop Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and analyze risks that could impact project costs.
• Factor in potential variations and suggest cost-saving alternatives.

Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination:

• Obtain and analyze quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Tender Preparation:

• Prepare and submit tender documents, including cost estimates and project timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify project requirements and resolve queries.

Budget Management:

• Assist in setting project budgets and tracking costs during project execution.
• Provide regular updates on cost variations and recommend corrective measures.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain a comprehensive database of estimates, quotes, and project records.
• Prepare estimation reports for management review and decision-making.

Market Research:

• Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and labor rates.
• Research new technologies and methodologies for cost-effective project execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in estimation or cost engineering.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Primavera, SAP, AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and labor costs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Goa Velha, Goa: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• total work: 5 years (Preferred)
• Construction estimating: 5 years (Preferred)
