Designation : Estimation Engineer (Civil) . Department : WW No of vacancy : 1 Location : Ahmedabad Estimation Engineer (Civil) Job Responsibilities : ?Meeting with clients and project managers to discuss the scope of the project. ?Prepare project cost estimates, evaluate contractors' bids, and recommend the best option to the client. ?They should have excellent mathematical skills and use different construction software programs to create cost estimates. ?They should also communicate effectively with clients, and contractors. Researching to determine the cost of materials and construction workers ?Using software programs to generate cost estimates. ?Reviewing estimates with clients and project managers. ?Making revisions to estimates as needed. ?Providing support during the project implementation phase. ?Understanding the scope of the project and developing a detailed estimate. ?Working with clients and project managers to ensure that all necessary information is gathered. ?Generating accurate estimates using various software programs. ?Reviewing estimates with clients and project managers. ?Adjusting estimates as necessary based on changes in the scope of the project. ?Follow the Estimating life?cycle in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures. ?Evaluating tender documents, drawings, & schedules. ?Maintaining ISO documentation, Record Keeping, Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records. ?Develop and manage the overall programming or water-related works. ?Preparation of Daily Progress Report and Weekly progress report. ?Collecting Quotation from Vendors/manufacture for particuler project and Rate Analysis as per Market. ?Estimate and Costing of projects at preliminary stage & in detail. ?BOQ quantiteies, Preparing Running Bills, checking of sub contrctor bill. ?Checking and coordation with site office for work done and to be further executed. ?Quantity Surveying. ?Rate Comparison. ?DPR Reporting. ?Checking of bills for project assigned. ?Coordination with Engineers and Sr. Engineers as well as the project in charge. ? Reporting to the Client, contractor, and officers of the organisation as necessary. ?File/Document Management. ?Maintaining filling work for the department. ?Maintaining daily reports. (Submit as per requirement). ?Manage proper communication with in the department. What You'll Need to Get the Job Done : ?Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. ?Proven 5 - 7 years of experience in water related projects. ?Minimum of five years' experience in Cost Engineering, Cost Estimating, planning, scheduling, estimating and other areas of project controls in a manufacturing environment. ?Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail. ?Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ?A strong understanding of construction methods and materials and an ability to read and interpret blueprints.
