SMC Store Leader manages the total operation of their respective store and supervises the ELC Brands and
employees. He/she should be strong with KPI's, Sales , understanding the customer requirement and providing
excellent customer service. Ability to drive retail- Target vs Achievement, focus on maximizing productivity and
lead by example. Ability to manage people have peer respect and work as a strong team player. He/she must
develop strong working relationships with their retail partner store and ensure ELC and Retailer SOP's are
followed.

KPIs
1) BUSINESS AND PERFORMANCE SUPPORT
• Oversee Daily Store operations including Timely Execution of the Trade Marketing Plans.
• Report Generation- Daily/Weekly DSR, GWP Tracker, KSM Program Performance Data,
Tester Requisition, Saleable/Non-Saleable Stocks, Visual Merchandising etc.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere geared to achieving sales and profit goals
• Determine, communicate and motivate the team to reach the sales targets
• Analyze and review goal attainment and develop strategies to improve performance
• Drive retail- Target vs Achievement and focus on maximizing productivity.
• Have fair knowledge of the ELC Brands Business plan for their respective stores and have a
clear strategy to ensure store achieves their weekly/monthly sales budget
2) INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
• Good understanding of Inventory management- ABC/Hero/Mini SKU's. Review stock and
share feedback for accurate replenishment and correction.
• Analyse stock on hand availability/ stock cover basis Monthly Budgets.
• Arrange for product transfer/IST from other stores in case of stock concerns at the store
across ELC Brands.
• Communicate low on stock and out of stock products to the respective DM.
3) EDUCATION
• Coach and facilitate retail-led SMC corporate training in conjunction with Education
Team.
• Share Education Calendar with the team in advance and ensure training attendee list
is shared with the DM.
• Share Training needs with the Education Team & District Manager and follow-up.

4) RETAIL PROGRAMS & TRADE MARKETING EXECUTION
• Collaborate with the DMs on Brand Incentive programs and execution at retailer
end, covering Key Shopping moments.
• Keep a track of the Samples/GWP's as part of the Trade Marketing plan across and
highlight in case of any challenges.

5) RETAILER RELATIONSHIP & TEAM BUILDING
• Build Collaborative relationship with the Retailer- (Store Manager, Cluster Manager,
Generic Staff) to ensure smooth store operations.
• Maintain a cohesive and a cooperative work environment through team building and
motivation.
• Manage time, establish priorities and delegate effectively to meet goals and
Objectives.
