As the ESG & Sustainability Reporting Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our sustainability and ESG strategies. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, managing certifications such as ISCC (EU, PLUS, and CORSIA) and FairWild, and communicating our progress to stakeholders. This role is based in India and reports to a global sustainability team. The role has a global scope covering reporting topics on a range of global sustainability topics (e.g. company GHG emissions), with a particular focus on reporting on Terviva s India-based operations and supply chain. Job Responsibilities: Sustainability Strategy: Develop and refine reporting strategy for sustainability and impact that supports Terviva s broader sustainability and impact strategy and is in alignment with industry best practices and global reporting standards (e.g. GRI, SASB, TCFD) Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data on sustainability and impact metrics, such as carbon emissions, supply chain traceability, waste reduction, diversity and inclusion, and community engagement. Analyze this data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation. Reporting: Prepare comprehensive and accurate sustainability and CSR reports for internal/external stakeholders and investors, including annual reports, ESG disclosures, and other relevant documentation. Compliance: Stay current with sustainability regulations and reporting standards, ensuring the companys compliance and transparency. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and investors to communicate our sustainability and impact efforts, address inquiries, and collaborate on initiatives. Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement sustainability and CSR initiatives to drive continuous improvement in our environmental and social impact. Sustainability Initiatives: Lead or support the development and execution of sustainability programs, projects, and initiatives across the organization. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including supply chain, HR, and marketing, to integrate sustainability and CSR principles into their operations. Skills, Competencies & Experience Minimum 5-8 years working in social or environmental impact and sustainability. Bachelors degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field (Masters degree preferred). Proven experience in sustainability and CSR reporting, including familiarity with GRI, SASB, or other relevant frameworks. Familiarity with human rights standards and organizations including Fair Trade, Fair Labor Association, Fair for Life, etc. Experience building and maintaining reporting systems and infrastructure to collect sustainability and CSR data. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling reports and presentations. Knowledge of sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices. Project management and leadership experience. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels, cultures, and geographies of the organization.
