About the role


Your Impact as ERP Transformation Head :




I. PURPOSE OF THE JOB



Bekaert is leading IT and Digital transformation program to enhance end-to-end user experience and deliver user journeys that drive impact across multiple cross-functional processes. Bekaert's employees, suppliers and customers across the value chain are getting increasingly sophisticated and expect a seamless and well-designed user experience.



ERP being central and core business application for system of record, its transformation is essential for Bekaert digital transformation vision. Keeping in perspective the ambition for new and bold Bekaert, Bekaert is reviewing current set up of SAP ERP and preparing the ERP transformation roadmap to support Bekaert success.



Your role as ERP Transformation Director is to be responsible for strategy and successful execution of the ERP transformation program. The spectrum of your tasks ranges from capturing the business needs, mapping to the right business application, and getting the solution delivered to Business.


You will lead a ERP transformation team to develop visions and sustainable strategies to build on the success. You will work in close co-operation with teams from other IT, Digital, various Business Units across multiple regions. Through your entrepreneurial thinking and action, your deep understanding of core business processes, Data and Methods in ERP, you will lead your team successfully and raise the value creation of ERP as Platform at Bekaert to the next level.



You will have a unique blend of business and technical understanding to create and present decision proposals based on facts, industry trends and best practices from the industry for management review and implement these quickly and profitably according to investment decisions. You possess the ability to translate complex relationships and solutions into understandable and visual representations and strategies, as well as present these both internally and externally.




Your main abilities include an excellent form of communication and great people skills as you will be communicating with IT, Digital and various Business Units across multiple regions.

II. ROLE DESCRIPTION




As a Head of ERP Transformation for Bekaert, you will work, above all strategically, to form a powerful team and ensure the success of the ERP Transformation.


Main Responsibilities are: -




• Define long-term strategy and approach for ERP transformation considering Bekaert business capabilities needs.
• Define program outcomes, sequencing, and roadmap with clear connection to IT workstreams, building clear path to confident delivery.
• Work collaboratively across business and technology to continually evolve the journey vision, objectives, priorities, and anticipated benefits.
• Conduct organization impact analysis and enterprise redesign strategies emerging out of ERP transformation program and identify key stakeholders.
• Assess the current challenges in the master data, transaction data and prepare detailed roadmap with Product teams to address these challenges.
• Create and imbed a prioritization approach to develop a roadmap for innovation with the relevant processes, tools, and metrics to support business objectives and new growth opportunities.
• Partnering with Bekaert Internal (Business and ADS) and partner ecosystem to align and steer the organizational readiness.
• Own process and act as decision maker for program changes requests impacting IT delivery, schedule, and/or budget through a disciplined change management process.
• Drive alignment between the Global Process Owner community, SMEs and the IT execution teams to optimize delivery outcomes.
• Executive point-of-contact for IT implementation partners; govern SI performance management and relationship.
• Escalation points for risks, issues, and dependencies; resolve and/or determine if higher level escalation is warranted.
• Be a leader in globally networked Bekaert organization and constantly engages with cross cultural, functional, departmental teams across Bekaert and with technology partners around the globe.
• Develop team capabilities and manage deployment to provide customer-focused design and implementation support.
• Manage budget and 3rd Party resources allocation, negotiate contracts with vendors and promote relevant cost saving initiatives.

VI. ESSENTIAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES


• Master's degree in IT / Finance or equivalent experience
• Overall, 15 years + experience in leading multiple enterprise scale transformational initiatives with a proven track record for delivery and successful business outcomes
• Proven track record of collaboration across multiple IT organizations, business partners and stakeholders; ability to operate in an ambiguous environment, ability to think beyond the current boundaries.
• Managing large enterprise applications and application teams for critical system performance across a broad set of business operations and critical business needs
• Proven experience and skills - functional and technical in the context of SAP ERP platform for Enterprise capabilties.
• Successful delivery of large SAP / ERP programs to ensure the overall success of implementation of SAP solutions and business processes.
• Demonstrated mastery of management communication and presentation skills, skilled at influencing relationships with internal business customers at executive and senior management levels.
• Established record of success building high-performance teams, developing leaders, and driving necessary organizational change
• Lead an IT organization in an in-and-out outsourced environment
