Position Title: ERP Sales Representative
Location: Ahmedabad

Position Overview: The ERP Sales Representative is responsible for selling enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions to potential and existing customers. This role involves identifying customer needs, demonstrating the benefits of our ERP systems, and closing sales to achieve company revenue goals. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of ERP systems, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales and Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Understand client business processes and requirements to propose tailored ERP solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Sales Strategy and Execution:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute campaigns and promotions.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
• Technical and Product Knowledge:
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of ERP products and services.
• Stay updated on product developments and new features.
• Coordinate with the technical team to address customer queries and technical issues.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
• Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions and market trends.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in ERP sales or a similar technology sales role.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and their applications in various industries.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into effective solutions.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
• Knowledge of industry-specific ERP solutions.
• Prior experience in consultative selling or solution selling.
• Additional certifications in sales or ERP systems.
Working Conditions:
• This position may require travel to client sites and industry events.
• Work hours may vary based on client needs and deadlines.
