JOB Description:
• Plan, direct, and coordinate cross-functional ERP activities; ensures goals are accomplished within defined scope, time, and budget constraints
• Data standardization, vendor research, data categorization, contract research, contract price updates, contract price discrepancy review and resolution
• Maintain data standards present in ERP system with a focus on identifying redundant data and performing required steps to correct identified issues
• Develop consistent protocols for reporting inventory, job cost and service management functionality
• Consult with management to understand ERP System needs, develop and execute project plans to meet those needs; establish realistic user expectations; define, document and monitor ERP scope, objectives and timelines
• Identify and schedule ERP deliverables, milestones and required tasks; maintain overview of project and its position and relationships in the larger system
• Coordinate assignment of project personnel, assign duties, facilitate meetings, coordinate ERP training
• Manage ERP security roles and user access to all modules including functionality data and navigational permissions
• Create and manage ERP process workflows
• Systematically identify and define problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement business solutions. Work extensively with ERP modules, MS SQL, MS Excel and other business tools as required
• Develop business processes that ensure ERP system meets all defined requirements
• Coordinate ERP tasks with all departments to ensure goals and requirements are met; keep management informed and updated on project and all related issues
• Develop and maintain technical and user documentation
• Perform other duties as required.
Knowledge of:
• Principles and practices of project management and training
• Principles and practices of business process reengineering
• Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Visio with current version of Office 365
• General business practices of a public health agency
• Customer service techniques and practices in a governmental agency environment
Ability to:
• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
• Plan, execute and control projects at various levels of complexity, establishing realistic estimates and reporting metrics
• Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating to achieve departmental goals and initiatives
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills to plan, organize, delegate and control work
• Understand and balance technical issues/solutions with time, cost, and human factors
• Ability to effectively analyze, present, communicate and exchange information to facilitate operational process development and documentation
• Estimate, plan, track, control costs, and provide status reports
• Operate a computer and use appropriate software in the performance of work
• Provide excellent customer service
