Summary:

The ERP Compliance Risk Specialist will lead and oversee the adherence of the Wabtec IT Controls for the primary ERP application used in the Wabtec. The role will ensure the Wabtec primary ERP, Oracle, strictly follows the Wabtec IT controls, GDPR and SOX requirements. The ERP Compliance Risk Specialist will perform the required monitoring and testing throughout the year to support the internal control requirements and support the Wabtec external audit requests for the primary ERP used at Wabtec.The position will research all new technologies introduced to support the Wabtec IT controls and will update the procedures accordingly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ERP Compliance Risk Specialist duties for the Oracle ERP instances
  • Provide subject matter expertise in regulatory aspects (SOX, Data Privacy) and the defined Wabtec IT Controls
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual testing required to validate the IT controls
  • Perform training to the IT ERP teams on the guidelines and procedures that must be followed to maintain
  • Maintain process documents for the ERP compliance oversight and testing
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the interfaces connected to the Oracle ERP and perform annual testing on the security controls
  • Assist with the disaster recovery testing of the Oracle ERP instances
  • Provide quarterly and yearly reporting on the status of the internal and external IT control testing
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or country equivalent or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in ERP compliance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/language skills required to include the ability to provide written and verbal instructions, and compile and present information clearly.
  • Analytical and reasoning ability for solving problems and good judgment for complex decision-making.
  • Ability to cooperate and interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member.
  • Quality orientation.
  • Motivation to provide excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
Physical Demands:
  • Employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Employee is required at times to stand for 0 to 1 hours at a time, with minimal breaks.
  • Employee is required at times to see and observe small handwriting, labels, and components.
  • Employee is required to wear applicable safety PPE or safety equipment as required.
