Job Title: Erection Supervisor
Location: Ramgarh, Jharkhand

Reports To: Erection Engineer / Construction Manager

Job Overview:

Sri Venkatesh Iron & Alloys (I) Ltd is looking for a skilled Erection Supervisor to oversee the erection and assembly of structural components, machinery, and equipment , including boilers, turbines, generators , electrical systems, and other supporting infrastructure at our power plant construction site in Ramgarh, Jharkhand . The Supervisor will lead on-site teams, ensuring the safe and efficient installation of critical plant components while adhering to quality, safety, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Erection & Assembly
• Lead and supervise the erection and assembly of structural components, machinery, and equipment , including boilers, turbines, generators , electrical systems, and other critical plant infrastructure.
• Ensure all installations are carried out according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Team Management & Coordination
• Supervise and manage the on-site teams, including laborers, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring efficient work execution.
• Assign tasks, manage resources, and ensure all activities are completed within the set timeline.
• Safety & Quality Control
• Monitor erection activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and work procedures.
• Identify any safety hazards or quality issues and implement corrective measures to minimize risks on-site.
• Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
• Identify and resolve any technical or logistical issues during the erection phase to prevent delays and ensure smooth installation processes.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Keep accurate records of daily progress, work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Report progress and any critical concerns to the Erection Engineer or Construction Manager .

Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualification : Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
• Experience : 2-4 years of experience in supervising the erection and assembly of structural components, machinery, and equipment in power plant or industrial construction.
• Strong knowledge of installation techniques for boilers, turbines, generators , and electrical systems.
• Leadership & Coordination : Proven ability to manage teams and ensure efficient on-site execution of tasks.
• Safety Awareness : Strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to enforce them on-site.

Work Environment:

• The role is based at the Ramgarh power plant construction site , where the Supervisor will be working in a dynamic, industrial environment.
• Flexibility in working hours based on project needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
