: Equity Dealer & Customer Service
Role Overview:
An Equity Dealer & Customer Service professional is responsible for executing trades in equity markets on behalf of clients, managing customer accounts, and ensuring smooth operational support for financial transactions. This role combines the technical expertise of stock market operations with customer service to provide efficient trade execution, portfolio management, and timely resolution of client queries. The ideal candidate is expected to have strong knowledge in equity dealing and operations related to financial products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Equity Trading & Execution:
• Execute buy and sell orders for equities and other financial instruments on behalf of clients in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor stock markets, indices, and share prices to provide real-time advice and execute trades based on client instructions or portfolio strategies.
• Ensure all trades comply with regulatory guidelines and are completed within the prescribed market hours.
• Work closely with research teams to gather market intelligence and assist clients in making informed investment decisions.
• Client Portfolio Management:
• Assist clients in managing their equity portfolios by offering insights on market movements and recommending trades.
• Analyze clients' existing equity positions and suggest rebalancing or diversification strategies when necessary.
• Provide periodic reports on portfolio performance, including profit and loss statements and stock holding summaries.
• Customer Service and Client Support:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their equity trading-related queries and providing timely information about market conditions.
• Provide support in opening and managing trading accounts, helping clients navigate platforms, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Assist clients with trade confirmations, account statements, and resolving discrepancies related to transactions.
• Operational Support:
• Ensure seamless operations by coordinating with back-office teams for settlement processes, demat account management, and other post-trade activities.
• Handle reconciliation of trades, account adjustments, and other operational issues to ensure accuracy in trade settlements and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support the operational workflow by managing KYC documentation, updating client records, and ensuring the smooth onboarding of new clients.
• Risk Management & Compliance:
• Monitor client portfolios for margin requirements and notify clients in case of shortfalls or potential risks.
• Ensure that all trades and transactions comply with internal policies, stock exchange regulations, and SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) guidelines.
• Report any suspicious activities and ensure proper documentation for audit and regulatory purposes.
• Market Research and Analysis:
• Stay updated on stock market trends, economic news, corporate earnings reports, and other factors that affect stock prices.
• Share relevant market insights with clients, providing recommendations based on analysis of company performance, market conditions, and future trends.
• Liaise with internal research teams and use analytical tools to track the performance of individual stocks and portfolios.
• Cross-Selling of Financial Products:
• Identify cross-selling opportunities for related financial products such as mutual funds, bonds, and insurance based on client needs and risk profiles.
• Educate clients on different investment products and assist them in diversifying their portfolios to manage risk.
Key Skills and Competencies:
• Equity Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the equity markets, trading platforms, and financial products. Knowledge of market indices, stock movements, and trading regulations is essential.
• Trading Skills: Expertise in executing trades, managing portfolios, and providing advice on investment strategies based on client needs and market conditions.
• Customer Service Orientation: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to handle client queries, offer support, and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in executing trades, completing operational tasks, and managing client accounts.
• Regulatory Awareness: In-depth knowledge of SEBI regulations, exchange norms, and compliance procedures to ensure all transactions meet legal standards.
• Operational Expertise: Experience in handling the backend operations of equity dealing, including trade settlement, reconciliation, and account management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 1-3 years of experience in equity trading, customer service, and operations in the financial services industry. Freshers also can apply.

Pay: ?9,034.35 - ?18,000.00 per month
