Job Description

Currently we are looking for candidates in Gandhidham office of Parekh group ( a shipping company) for the profile of the Documentation on a FULL TIME basis.

Job profile:

Salary Cap : 6 Lacs - 7 lacs

Should have minimum 3 years experience in shipping industry , with job responsibilties as under:

Planning and Steering of Equipment

- Equipment monitoring, acceptance and arrange empty evacuation

- Gather equipment forecast from Sales and CS

- Update equipment forecast in system

- Check / compare depot inventories and equipment requirements including pick up status

- Deadheading and steering of stock feeding to deficit areas

1. Ensure coordinator inserts manual equipment movements not received by EDI

2. Insert Equipment movements and check / correct movements received by EDI

3. Arrange stock feeding / deadheading request by creating "MT" (empty) bookings

4. Communicate with M&R team regarding accessing repaired equipment

5. Trace overdue equipment.

6. Error handling, trouble shooting and communication to responsible parties.

7. Arrange On hire and off hire survey, if required.

8. Focal point for all day-to-day equipment related issues for India.

9. Hands on training for depots/ M&R personnel to use principals' system.

10. Overdue container tracing and provide container information to CS Import and Export team

11. Arrange Transport for Empty movements within Nhava Sheva and intercity within India

12. Ensure vendor compliance with ISS standards in delivery of high quality services

13. thus meeting and exceeding principals satisfaction and this also include conducting immediately assessment and investigation in case of service failure.
