As an EPUB 3 Operator, you will be responsible for the creation, conversion, and quality assurance of digital publications in EPUB 3 format. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the field and a strong understanding of digital publishing standards.Responsibilities:EPUB 3 Creation and Conversion:Convert various document formats into EPUB 3 according to industry standards.Create EPUB 3 files from scratch, ensuring compatibility with different devices and platforms.Quality Assurance:Conduct thorough quality checks on EPUB 3 files to ensure they meet established standards.Troubleshoot and resolve any formatting or technical issues in the digital publications.Collaboration:Work closely with the editorial and design teams to understand project requirements and specifications.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.Technical Expertise:Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in EPUB 3 standards and digital publishing technologies.Provide technical support to internal teams and clients regarding EPUB 3-related queries.Documentation:Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for all EPUB 3 processes and procedures.Create user guides or training materials as needed.Problem Solving:Identify and resolve issues related to EPUB 3 files promptly.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find effective solutions to challenges.Requirements:1-3 years of experience in EPUB 3 creation and conversion.Proficient in using EPUB editing tools and software.Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and XML.Familiarity with digital publishing standards and best practices.Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.Flexibility to work in a hybrid model with both remote and on-site work (if applicable).
