• Call Management: Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, route them to the appropriate departments or staff members, and handle all internal and external inquiries professionally.
• Information Dissemination: Provide callers with accurate information regarding hospital services, departments, visiting hours, and locations as needed.
• Emergency Handling: Act as a critical point of contact in case of emergencies, efficiently directing emergency calls and promptly notifying the relevant personnel.
• Message Taking: Record and relay messages accurately and timely for departments or staff members who are unavailable.
• Call Logging and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all calls, including missed calls, transferred calls, and messages for future reference and reporting.
• System Maintenance: Regularly check EPBX equipment to ensure it's functioning correctly; report any technical issues to the IT team for prompt resolution.
• Visitor Assistance: Provide assistance and directions to patients, visitors, and guests over the phone, ensuring a positive experience and promoting patient satisfaction.
• Coordination with Departments: Maintain clear communication with hospital departments and ensure that any telecommunication needs or updates are promptly managed.
• Adherence to Protocols: Follow hospital policies and protocols strictly, especially in handling sensitive patient information and maintaining confidentiality.
