What you'll do:


A System Architect is responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical/architectural vision for an Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure the solution under development fulfills its intended purpose. The primary responsibilities are: defining technical enabler back log items to support the business strategy, define and maintain the architectural runway, ensure a harmonized/standardized system landscape, draw up the ART feature/epic roadmap with Product Management, refine the backlog from a technical perspective and drive the DevOps continuous delivery pipeline.


Specifically for the Payments and Collections ART we are looking for a System Architect who:

• Works with each team inside & outside the ART to design technical solutions, maps new requirements to the existing architectural runway and ensures all development activities are contributing to the future established architectural north star.
• Identifies the architectural concerns together with stakeholders and works with each team to identify the root cause, an action plan to address the issue, and the relevant documentation/approvals needed.
• Drives technical debt reduction.
• Ensures development and architectural best practices are adhered to.

What you bring:

• Minimum 5 years of work experience with SAP Applications like FICA, FI A/R, Credit Card
• Strong technical and architectural background in SAP Finance solutions.


- Advanced capabilities in ABAP and atleast 7 years of experience working with ABAP development workbench - data dictionary, BAPIs, BADI and ALV reports.

• Experience with Web Services, XML, Web Dynpro, OData, SAP UI5, Fiori, JavaScript
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA DB, CDS views.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Integration technologies (SAP Cloud Integration) connecting SAP & non-SAP solutions is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps tools
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
