Roles & Responsibility:
System Installation and Configuration:
• Install and configure of Matrix EPABX systems according to the organization's requirements.
• Program the EPABX system to set up extensions, call routing, and other functionalities.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
• Perform regular maintenance checks on the EPABX system to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the EPABX system, including hardware and software problems.
User Support and Training:
• Provide technical support to users experiencing issues with the EPABX system.
• Conduct training sessions for users to help them understand how to use the system effectively.
Routine Maintenance:
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the system operates smoothly.
• Replace or repair faulty hardware components.
Technical Support:
• Respond to user queries and provide solutions to issues related to the EPABX system.
• Offer remote or on-site assistance to resolve technical problems.
System Upgrades and Integration:
• Manage upgrades and patches for the EPABX system to ensure it remains up-to-date.
• Integrate the EPABX system with other communication systems and networks as required.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of system configurations, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered.
• Prepare reports on system performance and incidents for management review.
An EPABX technician must have a thorough understanding of telecommunication systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure to ensure seamless communication within the organization.
