As part of our Environmental team, you'll help improve quality of life. With your specialism in environmental management, or your technical or sustainability expertise, your work could involve protected species, pollution, surface water and materials management, air quality or noise. And in some of the world's busiest and most beautiful locations.


The role sits within our Resilience Global Business Area. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. The rate at which we're seeing large-scale, unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires, is becoming more frequent. Role accountabilities:



Processing data from site investigations for presentation and interpretation as required by the Delivery/Task/Project Manager.


• Support in Data analysis and report preparation with the Environment Planning team of North America as per their designated working time.
• Generating formatted EDDs, tables, figures, charts, reports, etc.
• Handling, sorting and preparation of data sets
• Digitization and documentation of the raw survey information
• Assist senior colleagues on multiple projects and deliver with high quality within time and cost expectations.
• Provide administrative support for projects by collecting data, providing project documentation, Task Management, and performing other general administrative duties. Assist in budget implementation, forecasts, and administration. As required.
Fulfilling duties within the Arcadis business management system including the completion of mandatory training, timesheets, and other submissions. As required.


Qualifications & Experience:



Graduates with 3-4 years of experience


• MPlan/MTech degree in Environment/Engineering/Planning or a related subject
• Experience of working on ESIA, ESDD, E&S management plans and E&S monitoring and performance services of major international projects involving funding agencies.
• Have a deep understanding of international E&S standards, incl. Equator Principles, IFC Performance Standards, World Bank EHS Guidelines.
• Strong mathematical skills, covering quantitative analysis, data manipulation, statistical modelling.
• Demonstrable research skills / experience. This may be via collection and analysis of data, summarising and critically evaluating literature, stakeholder interviewing, for example.
• Field experience is a plus.
• Proficient in commonly used Microsoft Office 365 apps.
• Networking, communication, and people skills.
• Strong organisation skills - ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Flexibility in working hours.
