ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH, SAFETY & SECURITY SPECIALIST (M/F/D)

YOUR TASKS




The main goal of the position is to oversee facility compliance to federal / state / local Environmental Health and Safety regulations and design, plan, implement, and evaluate safety training programs, policies, and procedures. This means that you will:


• Formulate general safety and environment policies and procedures to be followed by company or plant personnel in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations as well as corporate standards;
• Inspect or tour organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, and recommend corrective or preventive measures where indicated;
• Train managers and employees on health, safety and environment topics. Compile and submit accident reports required by regulatory agencies;
• Prepare and arrange safety and environment exhibits and material for display, promotional work, industry conferences and exhibitions;
• Represent the organization in community or industry safety groups and programs, maintain safety files and records and GPAIS system;
• Support implementation and maintenance of an Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with the ISO 14001;
• Report to top management of the performance of the EMS for review, including recommendations for improvement.




YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree (in environmental engineering would be an advantage);
• Job related experience in production company - 3 years;
• Occupational Safety and Health Specialist Certificate;
• Very good English language skills (spoken and written);
• Effective communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills;
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office programs).

Information regarding Base Salary



From to EUR (before withholding taxes) taking in consideration your current professional competence and work experience. Salary is reviewed at least once per year. Also, you will be entitled to the annual bonus, that depends on your results.
