IT ManagementGeneral Summary:Qualcomm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead for Enterprise Architecture to join our Enterprise Architect Team. As a key leader, you will lead the Enterprise Architecture sub-domain and manage Enterprise Architects based in India geo. The Lead will be responsible for driving the strategic direction, development, and implementation of enterprise architecture initiatives to support Qualcomm's business objectives.
The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned IT leader with a strong background in enterprise architecture and a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives in a global, matrixed organization. They possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of architects. The candidate is adept at building strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders, understanding their needs, and translating them into effective architectural solutions.
Should have a deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices, and are experienced in developing and implementing architecture frameworks and standards. The ideal candidate is innovative, a thought leader, and continuously seeks opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to drive business value. They are also skilled in managing budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope and on time.
In addition to their technical expertise, the ideal candidate is culturally aware and sensitive to the nuances of working in a global environment. They can navigate complex organizational structures and are comfortable working with teams across different geographies. Their strong problem-solving and analytical skills enable them to tackle challenges head-on and deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the business.Minimum Qualifications: xe2x80xa2 8+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.

10+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree.

• 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.

Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 10 years in a leadership role within enterprise architecture.
Proven experience in developing and implementing enterprise architecture strategies and frameworks.
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF
Strong understanding of BIZBOK concepts
Understanding of business processes modeling tools and techniques such as BPMN or ArchiMate
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
Experience with cloud computing, data management, and cybersecurity.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Conceptual understanding of data modeling and systems design
Ability to translate business needs into architectural solutions
Extremely high level of attention to detail in written communication, documentation, and presentation material
Familiarity with project management methodologies and frameworks such as SAFe
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, as the position requires working closely with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Strong leadership and change management skills to drive the adoption of new business processes and systems
Ability to work effectively in a team environment'Desirable
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
AWS, Azure, or GCP Certification
ArchiMate 3 Practitioner Certification
BPM Certification
Experience in the semiconductor industry or a related field.
Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and Cyber Security.
Proficiency in advanced data analytics and statistics
Demonstrated success in leading large-scale enterprise transformation projects
