Enterprise Architect - Azure/Google cloud platform - Chennai,India

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Enterprise Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. As an Enterprise Cloud Architect at NIQ, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless alignment between application teams and enterprise standards while maintaining and enhancing our enterprise cloud strategy.

Responsibilities

1. Cloud Strategy Development and Maintenance:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise cloud strategy that aligns with business objectives and technological trends.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the enterprise cloud strategy supports growth, scalability, and security requirements.

2. Alignment with Application Teams:
- Partner with application teams to understand their cloud requirements, challenges, and objectives.
- Provide architectural guidance and expertise to application teams to ensure alignment with enterprise cloud standards and best practices.

3. Cloud Architecture Design:
- Design and create cloud architecture solutions that meet application requirements while adhering to enterprise standards.
- Develop reference architectures, patterns, and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency across cloud-based applications.

4. Technical Leadership:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud technologies, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Provide thought leadership and mentorship to technical teams, promoting best practices in cloud architecture and design.

7. Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to cloud architecture, optimization, and cost management.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the enterprise cloud strategy and make adjustments as needed.

8. Enterprise Architecture Frameworks:
- Apply architectural frameworks such as ArchiMate to model and communicate enterprise cloud architectures.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure alignment between cloud solutions and overall enterprise architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 20+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design, with a focus on enterprise-level solutions.
• Proven expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, microservices, containers, and serverless computing.
• Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining cloud strategies and architectural standards.
• Proficiency in architectural frameworks such as ArchiMate for modeling and communicating complex enterprise architectures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect, ArchiMate certification) are a plus.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools is desirable.
