Job Summary:
The Enrolment Advisor plays a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the enrolment process for Study Metro Thane. This position involves providing information about educational programs, addressing student inquiries, assisting with the application process, and ensuring a seamless enrollment experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a passion for education, and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic and career goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Student Outreach and Support:
• Engage with prospective students through various channels including phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Provide comprehensive information about program offerings, admission requirements, and enrollment procedures.
• Address student inquiries, concerns, and application issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Application Assistance:
• Guide prospective students through the application process, including helping them complete forms, gather necessary documents, and meet deadlines.
• Review application materials to ensure completeness and accuracy before submission.
• Assessment and Counseling:
• Conduct one-on-one consultations to assess student needs, goals, and qualifications for various programs.
• Offer advice on program selection, career paths, and academic opportunities based on individual student interests and backgrounds.
• Follow-Up and Relationship Management:
• Maintain regular follow-up with prospective students to provide additional support, answer questions, and keep them informed about application status.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students, current students, and alumni.
• Administrative Duties:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions, applications, and enrollment data.
• Prepare and submit reports on student inquiries, application progress, and enrollment statistics as required.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments such as Admissions, Financial Aid, and Academic Advising to ensure a cohesive and supportive student experience.
• Participate in enrollment events, open houses, and promotional activities to attract potential students.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay informed about trends and developments in the education sector and contribute to the improvement of enrollment strategies and processes.
• Provide feedback on program effectiveness and suggest enhancements based on student and market feedback.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience:
• Prior experience in an admissions, sales, customer service, or educational support role is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of meeting performance targets and handling student or customer inquiries effectively.
• Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems and student management software.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
