Job Description

: We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable English Teacher for students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades under the ICSE board curriculum. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of English literature, language, and composition, and be able to teach students critical thinking, literary analysis, and strong writing skills. The teacher will also be responsible for preparing students for their board examinations and fostering a love for the English language and literature.

Key Responsibilities:Teach English Language and Literature to students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades according to the ICSE curriculum.Develop lesson plans that incorporate both the study of literature and language, including reading comprehension, grammar, writing, and poetry.Teach key topics such as prose, poetry, essays, drama, and other literary forms.Guide students in writing essays, letters, and creative pieces to improve their language and communication skills.Encourage critical thinking and analysis through discussions on literature and language.Regularly assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to enhance their learning.Prepare students for board exams, including exam preparation strategies, writing skills, and time management techniques.Foster a positive and interactive classroom environment that encourages participation and a passion for the subject.Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and grades.Participate in school meetings, staff training, and professional development activities.Collaborate with other teachers and parents to support the academic and personal development of students.
