Job Summary:
A High School English Teacher is responsible for instructing students in grades 9-12 in various aspects of English language arts, including literature, writing, grammar, and critical thinking. The role involves developing lesson plans, assessing student performance, fostering a positive classroom environment, and preparing students for standardized tests and future academic endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruction and Curriculum Development:
• Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in English language arts.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that meets state standards and district requirements.
• Incorporate a variety of teaching strategies and multimedia resources to cater to different learning styles.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
• Design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments and exams.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and grades.
• Classroom Management:

Qualifications:
