Job Responsibilities:

Teach English to senior secondary students (Grades 6 to 10) following CISCE curriculum guidelines. Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning. Conduct assessments, evaluate student progress, and provide constructive feedback. Encourage critical thinking, communication skills, and literary appreciation among students. Organize and participate in co-curricular activities such as debates, essay writing, and drama. Guide students in reading comprehension, creative writing, grammar, and literature analysis. Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom. Collaborate with colleagues and school management to ensure overall student development.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Postgraduate degree (M.A.) in English. B.Ed. degree (mandatory as per CISCE norms). Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in a reputed school, preferably CISCE-affiliated. Strong command over English language and literature. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in integrating technology and interactive teaching methods. Familiarity with CISCE examination patterns and evaluation criteria. Ability to engage students in extracurricular literary activities.
