We are seeking a qualified and experienced English Teacher for Apple Global School, Ahmedabad. As a English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English language and literature to students in grades 3 to 5. You will play a crucial role in shaping the language skills and literary appreciation of our students. Responsibilities: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the IGCSE curriculum and educational standards. Teach English language and literature to students in grades 3 to 15, ensuring effective delivery of the subject matter. Utilize various teaching methodologies and techniques to cater to the diverse learning needs of students. Assess and evaluate students\' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations. Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on their academic performance and areas for improvement. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and student engagement. Encourage students to develop their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English. Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to English language and literature, such as debates, elocutions, and literary events. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the English curriculum, ensuring its relevance and effectiveness. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students\' attendance, grades, and performance. Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in English Proven experience as a English Teacher, preferably in a IGCSE School. Excellent knowledge of English language, literature, grammar, and composition. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment. Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in the academic and personal development of students. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes. Strong organizational and time management skills. Valid teaching certification is preferred.
