Job Summary

Smart Ed Techno Solutions is a leading provider of educational services, specializing in teacher recruitment, resource management, and consulting. We are hiring on behalf of our client school , which follows the prestigious IGCSE curriculum , for the position of English Language Specialist .

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the holistic development of students from Primary to Higher Secondary levels while working in a collaborative and professional school environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Teach English Language and Literature to students from Primary to Higher Secondary levels, adhering to the IGCSE curriculum .
• Design and implement lesson plans that foster language proficiency, critical thinking, and creativity.
• Prepare students for I GCSE examinations by guiding them in comprehension, grammar, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate and track student progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
• Plan and execute engaging activities like debates, creative writing sessions, and reading programs to enhance language skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for academic success.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and learning.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in English (M.A. English) is mandatory.
• Experience: 1-5 years of teaching English, preferably in an IGCSE Curriculum.
• Skills:
• Strong command of the English language (spoken and written).
• Familiarity with the IGCSE curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students across different age groups.
• Other Requirements: Immediate joiners are preferred.

Selection Process:

• Shortlisted candidates will be required to conduct a demo class , showcasing their teaching skills and methodology.
• This will be followed by a personal discussion with the Principal to assess their suitability for the role.
