Job Title: English Language Tutor

Location: Pondicherry, India

Salary Range: 18,000/- INR to 20,000/- INR per month

Note : (Residents residing in the vicinity of Reddiarpalayam and Lawspet are invited to apply for this position.)

About Us: The Liberty Language Academy is a reputable language school based in Pondicherry, dedicated to providing exceptional language education to our diverse student body. We are seeking a passionate and qualified English Language Tutor, preferably a native of Pondicherry, to join our team and help our students achieve proficiency in English.

Position Overview: As an English Language Tutor at The Liberty Language Academy , you will play a vital role in shaping the language skills and confidence of our students. Your teaching expertise and commitment to creating engaging and effective learning experiences will be integral to our school's success.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Instruction:

• Plan and deliver English language lessons that cater to the varying needs and proficiency levels of students.
• Use innovative teaching methods, materials, and resources to make learning engaging and effective.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Curriculum Development:

• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to create and update English language course materials and content.
• Adapt teaching materials to suit the specific learning goals of each class.

Student Engagement:

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters language acquisition and encourages student participation.
• Develop and implement strategies to motivate and inspire students to excel in their language studies.

Individualized Support:

• Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions for students who require extra assistance.
• Address students' questions and concerns, offering additional support as needed.

Assessment and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assignments, and assessments.
• Generate progress reports and communicate with students and parents/guardians about performance and goals.

Qualifications:

• Must be a native of Pondicherry, India.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• A strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.

Working Hours:

• Specify working hours and days, e.g., Monday to Friday, flexibility for class schedules.

Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive salary ranging from 18,000/- INR to 20,000/- INR per month , based on qualifications and experience.
