We invite applications for an English and History teacher to instruct grades 6-10. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong command of English literature and History, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.Responsibilities- Teach English and History to grades 6-10- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and intellectual curiosity- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve curriculum goals- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events- Maintain a well-organized and inclusive classroom environmentRequirementsRequirements:- Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree in English, History, or Education- 3+ years of teaching experience (grades 6-10)- Strong knowledge of English literature and History curricula- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills- Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles- Familiarity with teaching methodologies and technology integration- Commitment to ongoing professional developmentPreferred Qualifications:- Teaching certification (e.g., B.Ed., CTET)- Experience with international curricula (e.g., IGCSE, CBSE, ICSE)- Familiarity with educational technology (e.g., digital whiteboards, learning management systems)- Previous experience in a similar school settingBenefits
