Position:Engineer/Sr. Engineer - PPC (SCM)Location:SilvassaExperience:5 - 6 YearsIndustries:PlasticResponsibilities:Develop and maintain production schedules: Ensure that production timelines are met, and resources are allocated efficiently. * Coordinate with various departments: Work closely with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure seamless operations.

• Monitor production processes: Use tools like CNC machines and VMCs to oversee manufacturing processes and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Analyze production data: Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
• Maintain accurate records: Keep detailed records of production schedules, inventory levels, and quality control measures.
• Ensure compliance: Adhere to safety and regulatory standards
• Production and Material Planning: Develop and manage production schedules.
• Ensure timely availability of approved materials to meet production goals.
• Plan materials and production based on sales orders, batch sizes, finished goods (FG) stock levels, and production timelines.
• Documentation and Systems Management: Work order creation and BOM (Bill of Materials) creation.
• Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems for seamless operations.
• Data Management and Analysis: Perform detailed analysis using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Conduct gap analysis for production losses.
• Track Plan vs. Actual and analyse variances.
• Inventory Management: Conduct physical counts for raw materials and work-in-process (WIP) inventory.
• Manage inventory control and aging analysis.
• Solve inventory variances and plan for FG liquidation with the sales team.
• Forecasting and Capacity Planning: Analyze sales forecasts for planning.
• Execute capacity planning and calculate cycle times and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
• Resource Management: Ensure the availability of all necessary resources, including manpower, materials, machinery, and methods.

Required Skills

• Technical Expertise: SAP & ERP systems knowledge is essential.
• Analytical Skills: Strong in data analysis, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Production Insight: Experience in inventory control, production planning, and gap analysis.
• Planning Acumen: Ability to align production with sales forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability.
