NMS/ EMS Testing Job ID- 33311 Location- Bangalore (Hybrid) Function- Technology & Security Office Reporting- Manager, Service Assurance Role Purpose & Key Accountabilities- Colt TSO Assurance & Inventory Application development team is looking for a team member in NMS/EMS Testing for doing the Type Approval Testing of various NMS/EMS Applications . The successful candidate will be responsible for the test strategy, test planning, test execution and test report and documentation. Responsible for the automation scripts and tools to facilitate in testing client/server applications as well as regression tests. Participate in review meetings and work with Colt Engineering, Colt Operations and Vendors to identify, isolate and resolve defects Define test strategy write test plans and test cases for all EMS/NMS components. Develop automation scripts and tools to facilitate in testing client/server applications as well as regression tests. Implement, maintain automated tests that provide feature and performance/scalability Participate in defect review meetings and work with development engineers to identify, isolate and resolve defects. Document test progress & reports. Design and configure the test bed. Contribute, evaluate and assess high level and low level design documentation Cross functional and department engagement to agree a common solution collaboratively Provide optimal technical solution to all business requirements Deep knowledge on Telecom Domain Excellent communication skills both oral and written Analyze industry trends and design applications in ways to improve client services. Role Specific Requirements & Experience Bachelor\'s degree or global equivalent in a related field. 5+ years of relevant experience in NMS/EMS Testing. Good knowledge on NMS/EMS Applications and Testing. Excellent Scripting Knowledge in - Linux and Unix Shell Scripting, Perl and Python Good NMS/ OSS/BSS Application knowledge Solid understanding of FCAPS functionality Experience in working with SNMP, Java, WebUI and CLI. Hands-on development skills with automated GUI test tools Excellent knowledge of in application development/Testing methodologies Agile Waterfall Dev Ops Good understanding on Telecom Network(Optical, Layer2 & Layer3 Technologies. Sound knowledge in Operating systems and Database technologies Knowledge on REST API.
