Lead the engineering projects of Sika India Automotive & Industry directly reporting to Head-Automotive & Industry India and Operations Head South Asia



Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Implement the new master plan for the operations of Sika India- Automotive & Industry.

2. Lead the factory investment projects from definition to start of production.

3. Communicate and liaise with Corporate and APAC Regional engineering team regarding the projects.

4. Select and manage local suppliers regarding the design, construction, installation, and commissioning of the projects.

5. Ensure the smooth execution of the projects following defined timeline, budget, and safety.

6. Ensure a smooth start of production of the new equipment and production lines.

7. Propose and implement additional operation efficiency improvements to the management both in existing Chakan Plant and new proposed plant.



Qualifications/Experience:

1. Professional who brings up engineering project experience in manufacturing industry. Min. 10 years of experience are required.

2. An Experience on factory investment project or factory greenfield project would be a plus. An experience in a multinational environment would be a plus.

3. Graduated from a reputable university with a bachelor or a Master at minimum.

4. Chemical engineering or Mechanical engineering major would be preferred.

5. You have fluent English skills and can communicate a technical conversation by English.

6. Knowledge on factory design and process design would be a plus.

7. Experienced with Project Management Process and Tools would be a plus.

8. Knowledge on LEAN and Kaizen methodologies would be a plus.
