This is the operations leader role for GE90/GP Services engineering section in Bangalore. This role will have the responsibility of working directly with Section Leaders & staff to drive key organizational metrics, develop processes that meet business needs across the organization and be involved in the department long term planning & overall strategy. In this role, you will be reporting to the section leader of GE90/GP section
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead operations of GE9O/GP section to meet agreed-upon objectives which includes functional Budget, quality, cycle time, customer satisfaction, productivity, and Compliance metrics
Develop, enhance, and maintain standards for operational activities
Track monthly billing data and projection.
Manage program funding and identify risk associated.
Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and training/learning needs designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the section
Manage section KPIs and develop/drive daily management / Monthly Operating Reviews for the section.
Participate in senior management activities, including development and tracking of the annual strategic plan, operating plan, objectives, and operational budget
Support a continuous process improvement system and culture, consistent with the company\'s quality program
Effectively collaborate with Global Operations leaders
Drive periodic operations review with key stakeholders
Foster and inspire a collaborative work style and display team-oriented behavior with a proactive example of communication internally and externally
Adhere to GEA Compliance processes
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Engineering position (design, analysis, systems, services)
Strong project management skills including cross-functional coordination of activities
Excellent communication/influencing skills and attention to details.
Demonstrated ability to understand complex information and develop relevant action plan.
Demonstrates a collaborative method of interacting with matrix partners and gains acceptance and support on issues critical to the success of the business.
Exposure to LEAN tools & techniques
Navigates ambiguity while naturally challenging the normal paradigms of doing business in a creative, healthy and inventive way. Balances risk/reward with an investment mentality
Ability and willingness to travel as required
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across global sites
