FunctionDigital & Information TechnologiesPay BandE4 to M2RoleEngineering Manager who can be part of the Product Engineering & Architecture team and contribute to building the digital & IT platform. The role requires someone who is technically hands on with sound knowledge and experience in programming, system design, cloud engineering & architecture along with having managed high performing technology teams who build world class scalable and data intensive software. A proven track record in managing engineering projects involving software product development from conception to completion will be essential.A purpose driven role for youTechnical Expertise:
Utilize a deep understanding of engineering princicples, system design and programming to provide technical guidance and support to the team
Design and develop high quality code using the preferred programming languages (such as Java or Javascript) to build the software product
Collaborate with cross functional teams, product managers to make informed technical decisions and solve complex engineering challengesLeadership & Project Management:
Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the engineering team
Set clear goals, foster a collaborative environment and ensure the team\'s overall success
Motivate team members, encourage innovation and promote professional development
Oversee the planning, execution and completion of product development projects.
Co-ordinate tasks, allocate resources effectively and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Manage vendor teams and resourcesProcesses & Standards:
Adhere and evangelise the standard industry processes and practices
Ensure agile mode of software development
Work with the dev/secops team to implement CI/CD pipelines

8-10 years of experience in related domainTechnical Skills/KnowledgeTech Skills:
Strong knowledge and development experience in any one or more of the following domains: mobile app development, cross platform mobile application frameworks
Strong knowledge in system design and architecture of highly scalable, modular and data driven applications
Proven experience in Engineering Manager or Lead roles in one or more of the following areas: startups, automobile, retail, mobile apps
Strong technical background and hands on experience in one or more: Android, IOS, Flutter, Kotlin, Swift etc
Experience in integrating with rest APIs & microservices
Strong knowledge in cloud services: AWS or Azure
Proven experience in handling cross functional teams, vendors and business stakeholders
Strong knowledge of cyber security concepts and processes
Experience in agile (scrum) software development process
