Our software and services allow users to deploy fault-tolerant, globally distributed MongoDB clusters in minutes.The main focus of this team is to adapt our software to manage MongoDB clusters which are deployed in data centers or private cloud platforms.You will work on the core functionality for all of our products, mainly on the , , and Automation products. Our team's end users are some of the largest businesses in the world, deploying massive clusters and processing huge amounts of data.This role will report to the Director of Engineering also based in our Gurgaon office.We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram for our hybrid working model.A great fit for this role will be

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in designing, implementing, testing, and releasing features for our Cloud Manager and Ops Manager products (a mix of on-premises and cloud products)
• Lead in an agile team environment with a close relationship with the customer
• Develop the team, and encourage Agile best-practise, such as incrementally shipping complex projects
• Assist our Ops & Support Engineers in troubleshooting operational issues with customers

Requirements

• Experience leading a team of software engineers
• Experience as a software engineer - the design, implementation and launch of features and products
• Strong experience with a language such as Java, Go, or Python
• Familiarity running services on Cloud Infrastructure (Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure), using containers and/or container orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift)

Nice to haves

• Experience with multiple programming languages
• Experience with the MongoDB Server (specialized, in-depth training will be provided upon joining)
• Familiarity with modern full-stack web development
• Some experience administering Windows & Linux servers
