What you'll do:

Component Engineering has opening for a position who is passionate about his/her trade, to join our team to work with supply chain, R & D, Procurement and manufacturing teams, and will be responsible for form fit function compatible parts for Mechanical parts. In addition, he will play a key role in Data Health Improvement, Library management, part classification, data quality, VAVE, supplier selection, alternate source selection, Part and vendor standardization, Cost reduction and quality improvement. Success in this position requires the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, strong motivation for pursuing project objectives and the ability to learn new techniques and development processes. We are looking for candidates who are able to see the bigger picture; strength in a system-level viewpoint is a must.

• Participated in full lifecycle product development of product utilizing electronic components.
• Engineering technical expertise to solve problems and make design recommendations
• Knowledge in Agile ProLaunch and PreLaunch processes
• Knowledge of Electromechanical Systems"
• Sound technical knowledge and experience in design and development of electronic product lines and relevant product standards such as UL, IEC & NEC.
• Demonstrated product execution from concept through commercialization on at least 1 projects of medium technical complexity involving concept generation, POC, verification, validation and certification as per global standards.
• Experience must include hand on experience with design of products from concept to commercialization including and not limited to PCB design, component selection, schematics creation & evaluation,
• Exposure in selection and evaluation of an alternate component in case of design change, component obsolescence, cost reduction and VAVE
• Experience in providing complete support on regulations such as EU RoHS, China RoHS, WEEE, REACH and Conflict Minerals.
• Strong knowledge on component database management, BOM scrubbing/update, product file structure, ECR, ECO
• Knowledge of electrical & electronic components - e.g. Surface Mount & through Hole, etc
• Know-how of EMI/EMC standards and reliability testing
• Involved in design reviews and project co-ordination.
• Hands-on experience of Schematic and PCB design.
• Participated in Part selection efforts for product components.
• Strong experience with attributes of various electronic components
• Coach, develop and grow the next line of leader including front line managers, lead engineers, Sr.Engineers.
• Collaboration with other EIIC businesses for effective project execution
• Co-ordinate with stakeholders to understand the new changes & requirement.
• Build culture of innovation through planned events, drive brain storming events
• Driving the Innovation culture, Process improvement, Costout focus, Smart solution to the electrical products, etc.
Qualifications:

Education Qualifications: BE Electronics/ EXTC or higher

Total relevant work experience 8+ years.
