Job Duties As the person in charge of a product that assesses the security risks of SaaS applications, your primary responsibility is to assist our customers in making informed decisions when selecting the appropriate SaaS application for their needs.
Here are the top things you would be doing to achieve the same:

• You will lead research efforts with a Security Risk/Compliance perspective to discover and define new metrics that can be monitored to assess the risk of SaaS applications. These metrics will then be translated into product requirements.
• Identify and implement tools and methods that can optimize the research process, enhancing scalability and efficiency. This will involve finding ways to streamline and improve the research workflow to achieve greater productivity and scale.
• As the manager and mentor of a team of SaaS application researchers, your role is to oversee and guide their work in evaluating the security profile of enterprise SaaS applications. This includes providing direction, support, and guidance to ensure the team\'s effectiveness and success in their assessments.
• Your responsibility is to uphold the desired levels of research accuracy and velocity while ensuring timely delivery of the research findings to production. This involves maintaining high standards of accuracy in the research process, optimizing the speed of research activities, and effectively coordinating with the production team to meet the agreed-upon timelines for deploying the research outcomes.
• You will actively engage with customers and SaaS vendors to gain a comprehensive understanding of their issues and concerns. Your objective is to address and mitigate these issues effectively. By fostering open communication and building strong relationships, you will work towards resolving any challenges faced by customers and SaaS vendors, ensuring their satisfaction and building trust in the process.

In This Job, You Will

• Identifying new security metrics for evaluating SaaS application risk.
• Conducting competitive analysis to stay ahead of competing solutions in the market.
• Innovating and implementing new tools to optimize the research process.
• Managing day-to-day operations of the research team.
• Planning and overseeing content-related activities from goal setting to production deployment.
• Tracking and reporting status and progress data.
• Identifying areas for improvement in research accuracy and velocity, collaborating with the engineering team to address gaps.
• Handling critical customer requests and escalations.
• Becoming a subject matter expert on cloud application properties and categorizations.
• Setting goals and creating action plans for team and individual career development.
• Providing regular feedback to team members and managing performance.
• Promoting proactive and effective communication within the team to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualification and Experience

• Security/Compliance background with operational experience.
• Experience as a people manager with a team size of 8 or more.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Ability to identify areas of opportunities to improve team productivity.
• Collect and analyze monthly content metrics to guide decisions about improving quality.
• Should ensure a high level of quality in process deliverables.
• Excellent customer service attitude and leadership in resolving difficult customer/vendor situations.
• Experience in database and python programming will be an advantage.
• Prior experience in SaaS Apps research and its properties would be a huge advantage.
• Self-driven, proactive, hardworking, and team-player.
• Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree. Preference would be given to computer science graduates.
