Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a section within the Electrical systems division as a part of the Electrical Center of Excellence in the ICS Global Engineering organization. As a first-line manager, the incumbent will provide leadership to a section primarily focused on Electrical system /Integration, Wiring harness Design, development, and electrification.As an Engineering Manager, you will coach, guide, and facilitate the development of a workgroup to develop collaborative relationship among themselves, as well as with Clients, Suppliers and other functional groups to ensure goals are achieved. You would create and maintain an organizational climate/culture which encourages innovation, collaboration, excitement/commitment, and a sense of urgency towards business success. The workgroup budget would be up to $1.5M with at least 15+ employees. The scope of work will include NPI, CPI, and maintenance in systems development, software development, and validation.Specific responsibilities include:Drive an Accountable for Results Culture and an Inclusive Climate that enables the global team to excel in delivering Customer Value. Understand & Communicate team\'s Purpose, Vision/ Strategy and current year\'s programs and deliverables. Actively Champion good collaborative relationship with internal and external customers, gather & respond to customer feedback, and guide the organization\'s focus towards meeting customers\' technology, product, service, and business needs. Drive continuous improvement (6 Sigma Sponsor). Develop R&R\'s, resource plan (with flexibility) and budget/ RBM. Identify and develop employees for the current and future roles. Ensure the team delivers on all its commitments on products (time, quality, and cost) and actively govern through goals and metrics.Required Skills:B.E. / B.Tech with 14+ years of relevant engineering work experience (including relevant leadership experience) Technical leadership experience in designing electrical systems design or Wiring Harness Design development and Manufacturing Project Management experience collaborating with globally distributed cross-functional teams Experience managing teams with over 15 direct employees, proven team management, and leadership skills. High energy and initiative with a can-do attitude is a must.Desired Skills:1. 6 Sigma Black belt experience.2. Master\'s degree (equivalent) in Engineering, Electrical Electronics, Mechanical curriculum.3. Product Development experience in Construction/Mining/Automotive Industries.
