Manages projects from design to testing, including new programs, enhancements and modifications. Collaborates with Quality Assurance team to conduct testing. Has overall responsibility for developing/administering performance standards for organizational unit. Manages team which may include exempt and non-exempt employees. Provides subject matter guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies and assists in the development and meeting of departmental budget.Core Responsibilities

The effective operational management of an Advertising Technology TeamTo manage a team of Engineers, Testers & SREs responsible for the engineering, testing, support, delivery and maintenance of the Advertising Technology that supports AdTech department services and processes.Design Services: * Work with the Product Delivery, Engineering & SRE teams, providing advice and guidance regarding appropriate Advertising Technology solutions for new projects.
  • Ensure Delivery requirements are incorporated into all new project designs - covering functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Respond to all project requests that have been raised through the correct process and record progress.

Optimise utilisation and performance of existing Infrastructure. Optimise service levels through ongoing review, process improvements and automation. Provide feedback to Core SRE and Product Teams of service effectiveness for future design considerations. Manage third party vendor support agreements. Maintain the processes and procedures to reflect updates to the environment.Support Services:Provide support for the Infrastructure & Cloud Infrastructure, respond to and resolve escalated issues. Escalate to and manage external service providers or vendors, if necessary, until problem resolution. Manage response to incidents in an appropriate and effective manner engaging with Incident Management and other support teams in a professional and supportive manner. Maintain the on-call rota and onsite presence of the teams - delivering the required levels of support to the Business and our customers.Delivery Services:Manage the installation of all new Advertising and Technology Infrastructure in line with the defined Installation Standards. Ensure that patching requests and work carried out by Engineers external to the team is right first time and minimise rework. Manage the configuration of all Infrastructure & Cloud Infrastructure including servers, storage, operating systems and databases. Ensure that all infrastructure is handed over into support with a valid OAC and understood Support model.
