We\'re an experienced team and looking for great people to add to our team.Sense is seeking a passionate Hands-On Engineering manager to manage our DevOps/SRE team, with the focus on improving development efficiency and productivity.As part of the DevOps/SRE team you will be owning and managing the infrastructure (Compute, Network, Storage, Security, Databases, AWS Cloud Services, etc) that power Sense Application and Services.Responsibilities

• Devise solutions that address performance, scale and architectural issues that arise as the Business and Engineering complexity grows.
• Heavy focus on automating all aspects of Cloud Operations, such as Infrastructure (IAC), ITIL practices, Monitoring & Alerting, Performance Insights, Infra Costs optimisations, and so on.
• Ensure monitoring coverage of all Production services, with a focus on actions that result in long-term remediation.
• Manage On call rotation to monitor and address critical issues in production, handle escalations.
• Manage, develop, optimize the build-release infrastructure and ensure to provide a reliable SDLC for Engineering teams.
• Ensure to maintain/meet the SLA/SLO and KPI\'s for infrastructure and services.
• Manage ITIL process and its lifecycle for Infrastructure operations.
• Manage & maintain DevOps infrastructure and services.
• Manage & maintain Observability platform.
• Lead and mentor the team, conduct performance reviews and hire the right talent for the team.
• Being able to own a project end-to-end while being proactive about updates/blockers, with getting things done (GTD) attitude.
• Responsible for overall health & wellness of applications & services.
• Manage day to day operational tickets, queues and sprint planning.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement new tools and technologies to support engineering efficiency.
• Foster collaboration between other engineering teams and work senior leadership for planning & execution.
• Capable of multi-tasking and be willing to adapt to changes quickly in a startup environment
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering organization.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (startup\'s)
• 9+ years of strong Hands-On experience in managing & developing infrastructure automation.
• 9+ years of strong Hands-On experience in AWS cloud technology and best practices.
• Strong expertise in developing & reviewing Python scripts for Automation in production environments.
• Proven track record of identifying and implementing solutions to improve engineering efficiency.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong experience in managing production incidents, changes and postmortems.
• Strong experience in SRE & DevOps technology, process and principles.
• Strong experience in Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins
• Experience in administering and maintaining Linux systems serving Production workloads, with strong focus on networking and system fundamentals.
• Expert in Docker Container technology.
• Strong experience in EKS or Kubernetes technology.
• Strong experience in building and managing Metrics & Log aggregation solutions/platforms.
• Strong experience in SRE Observability platforms & principles.
• Strong experience in developing & managing DevOps CI-CD pipelines.
• Experience in Infrastructure security tools and vulnerability mitigation.
• Experience in performance troubleshooting for applications & services.

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
