We're an experienced team and looking for great people to add to our team.About the PositionThe Engineering Manager will lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, driving technical excellence and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Data Science, across different product areas to solve our customers\' sourcing and talent engagement problems. Sense is acknowledged as a category leader in the Intelligent Automation space and as an engineering leader you will play a key role in taking Sense offerings to the next level.***(Not open to contracting or consulting firms)***Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and create development plans to help engineers grow in their careers.
  • Drive recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes to scale the engineering team
Technical Guidance:
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership, reviewing architecture, design, and code to ensure quality and scalability.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements, ensure alignment, and drive innovation in the recruitment product space.
  • Ensure that engineering best practices are followed, including coding standards, testing, CI/CD, and security.
Project Management & Delivery:
  • Own the delivery of product features from concept to production, balancing business needs with technical constraints.
  • Set goals, prioritize tasks, and manage project timelines, ensuring that the team meets deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to ensure transparency in progress and proactively address roadblocks or challenges.
Technical Strategy:
  • Partner with leadership to define the long-term engineering roadmap and strategy, aligning with business goals and product vision.
  • Drive the adoption of modern technologies, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends in the recruitment tech industry and proactively incorporate relevant innovations into the product.
Job Requirement
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in System Design and Analytical skills to be able to take a problem statement and conceptualize solutions for the same
  • Proven track record of building scalable, and distributed systems.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding development teams.
  • In-depth understanding of microservices architecture, cloud-based solutions, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to process and apply feedback constructively
