About the role As one of the founding members of the Engineering team at WeWork India, you will play a crucial role in building, leading and mentoring a team of talented engineers to design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge full-stack applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders, to ensure the successful execution of features. You need to be both highly technical as well as an effective people manager. Roles and Responsibilities Build Technology: Build technology to Provide a great customer experience across web and mobile for all WeWork products and services. Make member experience for WeWork spaces seamless and intuitive Build efficiency in all aspects of our operations Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence Project Management: Work with the product managers to build the roadmap and manage the projects to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions that align with our business goals Architecture and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient software architectures that can adapt to the evolving needs of the business Technical Expertise: Leverage your deep technical knowledge to provide guidance and mentorship to the team in developing robust, scalable, and high-performance full-stack applications Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain code quality standards Technology Stack: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and make recommendations for technology stack improvements Experience and Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or a related field 6-9 years of hands-on experience in building & running full-stack applications in a cloud environment (AWS/GCP) Proven track record of successfully leading and managing software engineering teams Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical and architectural decisions Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript, Node.js, React.js and other related frameworks used in full-stack development Strong understanding of both back-end and front-end technologies Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, best practices, and coding standards Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Having built 0-1 product in a fast growing startup environment would be a big plus Equal Opportunity Employer WeWork India is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
