About the Role:

As an Engineering & Maintenance Manager, you manages investment budget and planning for the plant, with specific regards to renewal, adequacy, and substitution investments for production and support Plants. Provide support to given structures (Ferrero Engineering and third parties), for the investment execution.

Main Responsibilities:

Budget

• Maintenance Budget: grants the correct definition of the budget proposal collaborating with UGP Maintenance Referent and other Function Responsibles, starting from the requests (\xe2\x80\x9cliste lavori\xe2\x80\x9d - personnel, spare parts, external service companies), monitors expenses and the respect thereof, justifying deviations
• Maintenance Budget: performs periodical analysis on budget and expenditure revisions (SAF) over its area of competence

MAINTENANCE POLICIES

• Definition: support over maintenance policies modifications meetings
• Automaintenance: cooperate on the detection and application of auto-maintenance areas
• Monitoring: analyses results derived from application / modification of Maintenance policies
• Handbooks and work instructions: assures the update-adequacy of handbooks and work instructions

DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT

• Plant designing: / planning participates in designing / planning phase for new machinery & equipment, in order to get useful information for their implementation.
• Activity coordination: controls the activities\' state of works contributing to the respect of the timeline
• Check equipment installation: cooperates with Maintenance Referents during assembly of new machinery to ensure compliance with technical specifications and implementation times
• Supplier Management: cooperates in supplier management of equipment and / or services to ensure the most effective and efficient use of the same concerning balance workloads and subcontracting control

INTERVENTION PLANNING & SCHEDULING

• Mid Term plan: cooperate in mid term needs detection
• Major PM planning: gives information regarding Major maintenance planning , resources availability (people, spare parts, external service companies)
• Short term planning: cooperate with UGP Maintenance Referent in the evaluation of rescheduling interventions giving indications related to resources availability (people, spare parts, external service companies) under its area of competence

INTERVENTION EXECUTION

• Maintenance Practices: assures the execution of interventions in accordance with best maintenance practices
• Intervention requests analysis: cooperate with UGP Maintenance Referent and Maintenance Execution Operative in the evaluation of on-call intervention requests in order to define priority, especially in case of high impact action
• Automaintenance application: cooperate in the evaluation of transferring easy maintenance practices / actions to production personnel
• SAL analysis: analyses SAL status for the activities under its area of competence comparing with activities plans / programs and detect corrective actions in case of missing objectives

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

• Improvements: detects, cooperation with UGP Maintenance Referent and Maintenance Technique Responsible, areas for improvement both at maintenance system as a whole and at equipment / machinery level
• Implementation: propose and cooperate in the implementation of initiatives and support in the evaluation of target achievement

MONITORING AND ACCOUNTING

• Technical Accounting: takes part in weekly maintenance meeting to understand Departmental technical KPI
• Breakdown Analysis: takes part in the breakdown root cause analysis in order to detect and implement improvement intervention
• KPI definition: cooperates with Maintenance Techniques in the definition of Maintenance KPIs
• Maintenance practices: takes part in the analysis of maintenance practices in order to standardize and spread them within the company

Who we are looking for:

You will possess a qualification of Level 3 or higher in electrical or mechanical engineering, accompanied with 8 to 15 yrs of experience.

Your skill set will encompass budget management proficiency, experience in overseeing small to large projects, a keen grasp of preventative maintenance methodologies, and the expertise to strategically plan shutdowns.
