We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in project engineering and project management for various Hydel projects. As a key member of team, candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Tender and Post award engineering activity related to EM packages of various Hydel (Conventional & PSP) Projects, ensuring their successful completion within Budget, schedule, and project requirement. Along with the Technical expertise in electrical engineering candidate shall have project management skills.

Role & responsibilities:

• Acts as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing their technical queries, clarifying requirements, and managing expectation throughout the project life cycle.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Co-ordinate with internal & external stake Holders, including, Owners, PMC, Contractors, vendors, sub-contractors, to ensure efficient project co-ordination and successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including design document, technical specifications, progress reports.
• Conduct thorough technical review, and inspections to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliances with project requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization and technological advancement in engineering & project managements.

Required Qualification/Experience:

• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Must have good overall knowledge of Conventional & PSP Hydel Projects including finalization of dimensions of Turbine-Generator (TG) & Electromechanical Balance of Plant (BoP) equipment and power plant layout.
• Experience in Basic & Detail electrical engineering for Hydel projects with proven track record in successfully managing the complex projects.
• Knowledge and experience in Pre-and Post award engineering activity including preparation of BOQ, Technical specification, SLD, Drawings and its technical evaluation for various Hydel Projects.
• Knowledge and experience in Electrical system studies/calculation i.e., short circuit, Load flow, relay setting, cable sizing, earthing, Lightning protection, lighting, battery sizing, AC-DC, SCADA, protection, communication, Security Surveillance system etc.
• Must have knowledge of all relevant standards and guidelines i.e., IS, IEC, IEEE, International Guidelines, Guidelines issued by CEA, CERC, MNRE etc.
• Experience in independently preparing Techno-commercial feasibility study, Detailed Project Report, Resource assessment and Energy Yield Assessment for Hydel Projects.
• Strong Project management skills including project planning resources management, risk assessment and stakeholders' co-ordinations.
• Strong oral & written communication skills in English with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, power point presentation Creating documents, writing reports according to specifications.
• Self-disciplined and demonstrated capability to work in multiple projects as a team member/ Project Manager.
