Knowledge of Electronics manufacturing will be added advantage.[Brief about Job]He should have complete knowledge on Hardware & Firmware designs. He will be trained on working of BMS, automotive BMS hardware and software to build the battery packs as per customer needs.Key responsibilities include:1. Strategic responsibilities -

• Give technical guidance on hardware and software and configuration of the battery pack to Production, QC and BD team.

• If required talk to the customer for queries raised by him or to understand their requirement in detail.

• Stay current with industry advancements and emerging technologies in Battery Technology.

• Co-ordinate with mechanical & Software team for hardware, firmware development.

• Develop maintain technical documentation, including Test reports and design drawings for sample orders from customers.

• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvement in the battery design and production process.

• Contribute to continues improvement initiatives in Engineering Department, including process improvement and quality control.

• Analyzing technological problems in products, application systems, checking its technical resolution and working condition, and fixing the same if required
• Collaborating with sales team, Engineers, and product managers for obtaining accurate information of product/application usage and system operations

2. Functional responsibilities -

• Must have a strong understanding on usage of Solid works and other CAD software

• Participate in technical discussion of Li-ion battery packs to ensure that they meet performance safety and reliability standards of the customer.

• Conduct testing and validation of battery packs to ensure that they meet performance safety and reliability standards of the customer.

• Provide technical support to other departments including manufacturing, sales and customer service to resolve any technical issues related to battery packs.

• Preparing manufacturing transition documents

• New product sample testing and validations.

• Support on preparation of technical and contract documentation for issue and analysis of returned tenders.

• Work experience in process-oriented organization will be an added advantage.
• Troubleshooting products on customer's request, resolving other engineering issues regarding product
• Weekly reporting of the above mentioned duties to all the stake holders.
