FunctionResearch & Development - JaipurPay BandE4 to M2RoleThe Engineer (Design & Integration) is responsible for visualizing and generating feasible design concepts in 3D/2D, considering weight, cost, quality & performance target with the ultimate goal of delivering excelling vehicles to our customers. The Engineer is responsible for doing the design and layout study of VED systems and ensures proper interfacing with adjoining systems. The Engineer also needs to maintain tolerances stack resulting in gaps/flush variation on vehicle. The engineer coordinates with vendors for delivery of parts as per quality, cost and time targets. VED systems layout & design of all parts and layout finalization.
Engage in concept visualization and 3D/2D best practices
Preparing design manuals(HEG), Packaging study reports, documenting learning from projects.
Part validation for fitment and conduction of Pilot Production trials for mass production of new models.Academic Qualification & ExperienceBE/ BTech/ in Mechanical/Automotive EngineeringTechnical Skills/Knowledge

• Knowledge of advance surfacing, 3D modelling and 2D drawing in Catia V5/ Any CAD tool.
• Good understanding of DFM, DFA, DFMEA and GD&T.
• Knowledge of required manufacturing process in VED parts design.
• Exposure to Sheet metal / casting analysis software
• Good understanding of FEA analysis for VED system parts
• Experienced in handling suppliers and internal/external customers
• Problem solving, analytical skills
