: To assess the thermal ambience on the various parts of the vehicle, and to assess their effects. To analyze / exploit laboratory or chamber, or vehicle performance tests in the required thermal conditions. To conduct research programs to develop / validate 2D / 3D computations tools, databases, physical laws. To select the protections to resist to thermal environment and coordinate their development in agreement with the project organization. To prepare, exploit, analyze the vehicle performance tests and / or chamber / laboratories tests campaigns, and then to produce the certification / qualification reports. To follow-up the continuous airworthiness or in orbit performance, to manage incidents in service. To promote technical innovations of protection systems.
